Questions about our guides

Which parchment guide should a first-time buyer read?

Start with the silicone, Quilon and unbleached comparison, then the sheet sizes by pan. Between them they answer most first quotes.

Does the coating guide tell me which parchment to print on?

Yes. It explains why most printed jobs run on Quilon stock and when silicone-coated is worth the margin.

Is there a guide that lists parchment sheet sizes by pan?

Yes. It goes pan by pan, from quarter sheet to full sheet, loaf and springform, with the sheet, liner or round that lies flat.

Where do the heat figures in the parchment guides come from?

They are typical trade figures for each coating: about 450°F for silicone-coated stock and about 420°F for Quilon and unbleached. Treat them as ceilings.

Does the wax paper guide explain why wax smokes in an oven?

Yes. It covers the paraffin melting point, why wax belongs on a cold counter and which paper takes each job.

Do the parchment guides cover air fryer liners?

Yes. The temperature guide has the air fryer rules: liner under food only, never preheat empty, lift tabs and sizing to the basket floor.

How often are the parchment guides updated?

Each guide shows its published and updated dates under the title. We revise when a size, stock or figure changes.

Can I ask a question the parchment guides do not answer?

Yes. Put it in the notes on the quote request for parchment paper, or call, and the answer comes with the quote.

Are the parchment guides written for home bakers or for kitchens?

For working kitchens: bakeries, restaurants, food trucks, delis and food brands. Home bakers are welcome to read them.

Does the printing guide say what artwork file to send?

Yes. Vector files first, a high-resolution PNG for a single logo, and a Pantone solid-coated number for any color that has to match.
