Bleached White Parchment Sheets for Wraps, Trays and Pans
Bleached white parchment is the clean white sheet in the photos, folded around a sandwich half with the corners tucked. It lines display trays and sheet pans, wraps counter food, and prints up to four colors cleaner than any other parchment stock.
From $0.30 a sheet. Written quote in one business day and a free design proof.

Bleached white parchment is parchment made from bleached pulp, so the sheet is a uniform white with no fiber mottle. It is grease-resistant, heat-stable to 420°F or 450°F depending on the coating, and takes ink the way white paper does. Delis, cake shops and food brands pick it where a bright, even background matters.
Why white sheets
A deli case, a pastry counter and a photographed product all want the same thing: a background that does not argue with the food. White does that; a kraft tone warms everything on it.
Under a 450°F convection fan the silicone-coated sheet stays flat and lets a macaron or a cheese tuile lift off whole. Quilon-coated white does the same job once, at a lower cost.
The usual pick is 12 × 16 in. If you line a display tray, measure the inside of the tray first; a 10 × 15 in sheet drops into most of them without a crease.

What bleached white parchment is and where it works
The sandwich in the photo is folded into a plain white sheet, no print, corners tucked under. That is bleached white parchment: bleached pulp, an even white surface, a slight translucency when it is one layer over food.
It behaves like unbleached parchment in every way but color. Grease stays on the surface, heat does not scorch it below its limit, and baked goods release. The sheet is smooth to the touch with a faint sheen on the coated side, and it creases sharply, which is why a tucked corner stays tucked.
Cake shops line boards and boxes with it. Delis wrap sandwiches and line baskets. Caterers lay it under platters. Food brands print on it because color sits on white exactly as it looked on screen.
Compare it with the other cuts in the parchment sheets range.
Does white parchment brown the base faster than unbleached?
Not in any way you can taste. Browning comes from the pan, the rack position and the sugar in the dough, not the shade of the paper.
What white does change is what you see. A dark cookie bottom on a white sheet looks darker than it is, and a pale sponge looks paler. Judge by the cake tester, not the paper. One habit worth keeping: slide a cooled bake off the sheet before plating, since the white sheet picks up sugar spots that show in a case.
Silicone-coated white is rated to 450°F, so it covers a hot roast as well as a slow meringue. A sheet survives two or three bakes before the coating tires and the release gets sticky.
The temperature limits for each parchment are listed in the guide.
Which white sheet size lines your tray, pan or platter?
White parchment is cut as often for display as for baking, so the typical sizes lean toward trays and cases.
| Typical size | Use | Fit |
|---|---|---|
| 10 × 15 in | Display tray liner | Drops into most bakery case trays flat |
| 12 × 16 in | Half sheet pan | The usual pick; also a generous sandwich wrap |
| 15 × 20 in | Platter and case liner | Covers a catering platter with an inch to spare |
| 16 × 24 in | Full sheet pan | Base coverage; fold the corners in |
Measure the inside base of a tray, not the outside lip, and add nothing. A liner that climbs the sides looks untidy in a case. Odd trays get a custom cut; send the two inside measurements on the quote. There is a fuller chart of parchment sizes by pan for ovenware.
Silicone or Quilon: which coating on white stock?
Both coatings come on bleached white. Pick by what the sheet does, not by cost alone.
- Silicone, one side: lining pans, baking, anything that goes in an oven more than once.
- Silicone, both sides: layering between sheets of pastry, stacking burger patties, sandwich wraps that get grilled in the paper.
- Quilon: single-use tray liners, cake board liners, cold wraps, display work. Rated to 420°F, so it still handles a quick reheat.
If the sheet mostly sits in a cold case, Quilon does the job and nobody notices. If it bakes, take silicone. Read silicone against Quilon and unbleached for the full comparison.
Printing on white parchment: the stock for color
White is the stock to choose when the logo has two, three or four colors, or when a Pantone red has to be that exact red. Ink sits on the surface and reads the way it did on the proof.
Keep coverage light. A full flood of ink stiffens the sheet and the paper loses some of its crinkle. Logos, borders and a small repeat pattern print well; a solid block across the sheet does not.
Step-and-repeat suits wraps and basket liners, because the fold lands anywhere. A single logo sits better on a tray liner where one face shows. Supply vector files and we print on the side that faces away from the food, with food-safe soy and water-based inks.
The logo printing guide for parchment covers file setup.
Why is bleached white parchment slightly see-through?
Hold one sheet up to a window and it glows. Parchment is a dense paper, and dense paper passes light. Two layers are opaque; one layer over a dark rye shows the shape of the bread.
That translucency is why a white wrap looks clean rather than heavy around a sandwich. It also means the sheet goes clear where oil soaks the surface, which is the sign to use a heavier basis weight or a double fold for very greasy food.
If you need a fully opaque white for a photographed product, ask for the heavier end of the weight range on the quote. Stacked three deep under a platter, even the lighter weight reads as solid white.
Packing and the cold case
Sheets ship flat, interleaved so the top one lifts without taking the next with it. A carton of 1,000 at 12 × 16 in weighs enough to want a shelf, not a hook.
Keep an opened carton closed between services. White shows dust and a damp corner, and a sheet that has sat out in a humid kitchen for a day wrinkles when it meets heat.
At the counter a half-height carton with the lid torn off makes a serviceable dispenser; sheets pull from the top one at a time. For cake boards, store a short stack of pre-cut liners inside the box carton so the two travel together.
Mistakes that spoil white parchment
Five things we see go wrong, all avoidable.
- Lining a tray with a sheet bigger than the base so the sides ride up and show every crease.
- Printing a pale yellow or a light gray: both vanish on white. Go a shade darker than the brand guide for this stock.
- Reusing a Quilon sheet for a second bake; it is a single-use coating.
- Running silicone-coated white above 450°F or under a broiler element.
- Wrapping a sandwich straight off the grill without a minute to vent; steam goes clear through one layer.

Bleached White Parchment questions
What does bleached mean on bleached white parchment?
The pulp was bleached to white before the sheet was made. The result is an even white surface with none of the fiber mottle you see on unbleached stock.
What temperature is bleached white parchment rated to?
Silicone-coated bleached white typically takes 450°F; the Quilon-coated version takes about 420°F. Neither belongs under a broiler or against a heating element.
Can bleached white parchment sit in a display case all day?
Yes, that is one of its main jobs. A Quilon-coated sheet is the economical choice for a tray liner that is changed each morning.
Will bleached white parchment show grease marks from a sandwich?
Oil goes slightly clear on one layer of white, so a very greasy sandwich shows a shadow. A double fold or a heavier weight keeps the outside clean.
How many ink colors print on bleached white parchment?
Up to four food-safe colors with Pantone matching. White is the stock to pick when the logo needs more than one color.
Does bleached white parchment come with a Quilon coating?
Yes, Quilon-coated white is a single-use option for liners, cold wraps and display work. Silicone is the choice when the sheet goes in the oven more than once.
Which bleached white parchment size lines a bakery display tray?
10 × 15 in drops flat into most case trays. Measure the inside base of your tray and send the figures if it differs.
Can bleached white parchment be cut to fit my cake boxes?
Yes, any box or board size is a custom cut. Send the inside measurements in inches and we cut the sheet to sit flat inside.
Is bleached white parchment thicker than the unbleached sheet?
Not by default; both run in the same typical weight range of about 27–45 lb. Ask for the heavier end on the quote if you want a stiffer or more opaque white.
Can I reuse a bleached white parchment sheet for a second bake?
If it is silicone-coated, typically two or three bakes. Quilon-coated white is single use and should be binned after one.
What is the minimum order of bleached white parchment?
1,000 sheets in one size and one coating. Larger runs and several sizes in one order are quoted together.
How fast does bleached white parchment arrive after I approve the proof?
Production takes 4 to 6 business days, then free tracked delivery to any US address takes 2 to 3 business days.
