Custom Printed Parchment Sheets for Wraps, Liners and Trays
Custom printed parchment is pre-cut parchment with your logo or pattern printed on the outer face in food-safe inks. It lines display trays, wraps hot food and sits under pastries in the case with your name in view.

Custom printed parchment is a pre-cut sheet of real parchment carrying your own artwork, printed in one to four colors on the side that faces away from the food. Underneath is the same bleached or unbleached, silicone or Quilon-coated parchment you already bake and wrap with. You pick the size, the stock and the design; we proof it, print it and cut it to order.
Why print on the parchment itself
A sticker on a plain wrap peels in the steam, and a printed box hides the food. A logo on the parchment stays put, costs less per unit and is seen at the exact moment the customer unwraps something they are about to enjoy.
The ink sits on the face that turns outward, so a hot burger or a glazed donut touches bare parchment. The sheet still releases, still takes a fold and still handles oven heat within the usual limits of its coating.
Order the size you fold most often and keep the artwork to one or two colors for a first run. The proof is free and the edits are unlimited, so get the repeat spacing right on screen before 1,000 sheets print.
Sizes and formats

What custom printed parchment is and who orders it
Custom printed parchment is a flat, pre-cut sheet of real parchment with your artwork on one face. It is not a label stuck on later and not a thin printed tissue that softens the moment it meets steam.
Bakeries line display trays with it so the logo shows between the croissants. Burger spots and delis fold it around a hot sandwich. Meal-prep kitchens drop a printed sheet into the box so the first thing a customer sees is the brand.
The photos above show sample designs on both kraft-tone and white stock, from a small all-over pattern to a single large mark. Your sheet can go either way, or combine the two.
How does the print hold up next to hot food?
The inks are food-safe soy and water-based colors, and they sit on the face that turns away from the food. A hot patty touches bare parchment, never the printed side.
Grease is the thing to plan for. Bleached white parchment turns slightly translucent where fat soaks in. A pale print can look patchy under a greasy sandwich after a few minutes. Darker, solid colors hide that far better.
Heat limits are the same as the unprinted sheet: silicone-coated to about 450°F, Quilon and unbleached to about 420°F. The ink does not change those figures, and nothing printed should go under a broiler or near an open flame.
Which sheet size should you print?
Pick the size by what the sheet has to cover, not by the artwork. A 12 × 16 in sheet is the usual pick. It wraps a burger with room to tuck and still lines a half sheet pan.
| Typical size | Where it goes | Layout that suits it |
|---|---|---|
| 8 × 11 in | Small wraps, cookie bags, under a slice of cake | Single logo, centered |
| 12 × 16 in | Burger and sandwich wraps, half sheet pan liner | Step-and-repeat or one large mark |
| 15 × 15 in | Square wraps, deli paper for the counter | Step-and-repeat so every fold shows ink |
| 16 × 24 in | Full sheet pan liner, tray and case liners | Repeat pattern with a wide clear margin |
Any other flat size is a custom cut and goes on the quote the same way. If you are not sure which pan a sheet must match, the parchment sheet sizes by pan guide lists the common ones.
Bleached white or unbleached kraft-tone under the ink
The stock changes how your colors read more than any other choice on the quote.
- Bleached white parchment shows colors close to how they look on screen. It is the pick for two or more colors or any pale tint.
- Unbleached parchment has a warm tan base. One dark color on it looks printed on purpose; two colors often look muddy on kraft.
- White stock shows grease spots sooner. The kraft tone hides them longer, which matters for fried food.
- Both stocks take the same coatings and the same inks, and both cut to the same sizes.
Our view: one color on unbleached for a rustic bakery or barbecue look. Go white when the logo has a tight Pantone match to hit. There is more on how both stocks take ink in the guide to printing a logo on parchment.
One logo or a step-and-repeat pattern?
A single logo looks sharp on a tray liner where the sheet lies flat and nobody folds it. Center it, keep it to about a third of the sheet width, and leave the edges clean.
Once the sheet gets folded around food, a single mark ends up on the underside half the time. A step-and-repeat pattern of small logos or icons, spaced about 2 to 3 in apart, shows the brand no matter how the wrap lands.
Many kitchens combine both: a small repeating icon across the sheet and one larger mark near the center. The sample in the second photo is built exactly that way.
Artwork notes before you send a file
- Send vector art (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) so lines stay crisp at any size. A low-resolution logo pulled from a website will print soft.
- Name your Pantone solid-coated numbers. We match to those, and the proof shows which numbers are in use.
- Keep lines above about 0.5 pt and type above about 6 pt. Parchment has a slight tooth, and hairlines break up on it.
- Solid floods of ink over most of the sheet are possible but cost more and can curl the paper a little. Patterns with open paper between marks lie flatter.
- Count your colors. Each extra color is another pass, so a one-color file keeps the quote lowest.
You can lay the artwork out yourself in Design Your Parchment Paper and watch how the repeat falls across the sheet.
Silicone or Quilon under the print?
If the sheet goes into an oven as a pan liner, choose silicone-coated. It releases sugar and cheese cleanly and survives a convection fan at 450°F for two or three bakes.
If the sheet only wraps, lines a tray or sits in a box, Quilon-coated stock does the job for less. It is meant for one use. Most printed wrap orders go Quilon for that reason.
Printing works on either. Silicone on both sides is also available when the sheet has to release from the pan below and the pastry above. The silicone vs Quilon vs unbleached comparison goes deeper if you are torn.
Mistakes to avoid on a first printed run
- Printing a thin, pale logo on white stock and then wrapping fried chicken in it. The grease shows through and the mark fades into it.
- Running a 16 × 24 in sheet with the logo in one corner. On a full sheet pan the corner sits under the first tray of cookies.
- Asking for four colors on unbleached stock. The kraft tone shifts every one of them.
- Approving a proof without checking the repeat spacing against the real fold. Ask us to mark the fold lines on the proof.
- Ordering the exact count you need this month. Stock the first order a little deeper, because a reprint has its own production window.
How to order custom printed parchment
- Tell us the size, the stock, the coating and how many colors. From $0.30 a sheet; the exact figure comes on a written quote within one business day.
- Send your artwork and Pantone numbers, or build the layout in the studio and send that.
- Approve the free design proof. Edits at this stage are unlimited, so ask for a second repeat spacing or a different stock view if it helps you decide.
- Production takes 4 to 6 business days after approval, then free tracked delivery reaches any US address in 2 to 3 business days.
- Open the case and check the print within 10 days. A misprint or damaged case reported with photos is reprinted or refunded.
Minimum order is 1,000 sheets of one design and size, paid by invoice after you approve the quote and proof. Stock samples can be asked for on the quote. Request a custom printed parchment quote when you are ready.
How the printed sheets are packed
Sheets arrive flat, stacked in cases of a set count with a kraft wrap around each ream to keep the edges clean. Flat packing matters for printed stock because a curled sheet throws the artwork off-center once it is wrapped.
Most kitchens keep an open ream in a drawer by the pass or in a countertop sheet dispenser. If you want a smaller inner count for several stations, say so on the quote.
Printed wraps for a sandwich line have their own sizes and fold habits. See branded sandwich parchment for wraps for that use.
Custom Printed Parchment Paper questions
What is custom printed parchment made of?
It is real parchment, bleached white or unbleached, with a silicone or Quilon coating and your artwork printed on the outer face. Nothing about the base paper changes; only the print is added.
Is the ink on custom printed parchment safe next to food?
Yes. We print with food-safe soy and water-based inks on the face that turns away from the food, so the printed side never touches what you serve.
Can custom printed parchment go in the oven?
Yes, within the same limits as plain parchment. Silicone-coated sheets handle about 450°F and Quilon or unbleached sheets about 420°F, and none of them belong under a broiler.
How many colors can I print on a custom printed parchment sheet?
One to four colors, matched to Pantone solid-coated numbers. One or two colors cover most logos and keep the quote lowest.
Does custom printed parchment come in unbleached kraft-tone?
Yes. Unbleached stock prints well in one dark color, which many bakeries and barbecue kitchens prefer. Bleached white is the better base for two or more colors.
What is the minimum order for custom printed parchment?
1,000 sheets of one design and size. Larger runs bring the per-sheet figure down on the quote.
Will I see a proof before my custom printed parchment runs?
Yes, a free design proof comes before anything prints, and you can edit it as many times as you need. Nothing runs until you approve it.
What file do you need for custom printed parchment artwork?
Vector art (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) with Pantone numbers. If you only have a PNG or JPG, send it and we will say on the proof if it is sharp enough.
Should custom printed parchment carry one logo or a repeating pattern?
A repeating pattern if the sheet will be folded around food; a single centered logo if it lies flat on a tray. Many designs use both.
How long does a custom printed parchment order take?
Production takes 4–6 business days after proof approval. Free tracked delivery then reaches any US address in 2–3 business days.
Can I get custom printed parchment in a size that is not listed?
Yes. The typical sizes are guidance; any other flat size is a custom cut and goes on the quote with the same minimum.
What happens if my custom printed parchment arrives misprinted?
Send photos within 10 days and we reprint or refund the order. Color shift within trade tolerance on unbleached stock is the one thing that does not count as a misprint.
