Privacy policy

What we collect when you ask for a quote, how we use it and how to ask for it to be deleted.

What we collect on our forms

When you ask for a quote, send a design from the studio or write through the contact form, we collect what you type: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the sizes and counts you want and any notes. If you upload a logo, a pan photo or a PDF, we keep the file with the request.

We do not ask for card details on the site. Payment is by invoice, and the invoice is handled outside the website forms.

How we use it

We use what you send to quote, proof, cut, print and deliver your order and to answer your questions. Your email address is used to send the quote, the proof, the invoice and the tracking number for the order you asked about.

We do not send marketing emails to a quote address unless you ask for them. We do not sell or rent any of this information.

Who sees it

Our team sees your request so that someone can reply. The email provider that delivers our mail processes the message in order to send it. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to the terms of that service.

No other company receives your details for its own use. A delivery address is passed to the delivery service only so the carton reaches you.

Analytics and the chat widget

The site uses an analytics service and a session-recording service to see which pages are read and where a form stops working. They set cookies and record page views, clicks and rough location by region. They do not see what you type into a form.

The chat widget in the corner is delivered by a chat service. What you type into it reaches our team and is stored by that service so the conversation can be picked up later. Treat it like email: send sizes and counts, not card numbers.

How long we keep it

Quote requests, proofs, artwork files and the emails around them are kept while the quote is open and for as long as you remain a customer, so that a reorder can run from the approved artwork. Invoices and delivery records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

A request that never turns into an order is deleted after a reasonable period. Chat transcripts and analytics records follow the retention settings of the services that hold them.

Your rights and how to ask for deletion

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@theparchmentpaper.com from the address you used on the request, or call during Eastern business hours, and we act on it. We may keep invoices where the law requires it.

Questions about this policy go to the same address. If we change the policy, the new version is posted on this page with the date it took effect.

Questions about privacy

What personal details does the parchment quote form collect?

Your name, business name, email, phone number, the sizes and counts you ask about and any file you upload. Nothing else is required.

Do you sell or share quote-form data with advertisers?

No. Your details are used to quote and deliver your order and are not sold, rented or shared for advertising.

Which outside services see my parchment quote request?

The email provider that delivers our mail, and the delivery service that receives the address once an order ships. No one else.

Does the site use cookies for analytics?

Yes. An analytics service and a session-recording service set cookies to count page views and spot broken forms. They do not read what you type.

How long do you keep my logo file and quote emails?

While the quote is open and for as long as you are a customer, so a reorder can reuse the approved artwork. Ask and we delete them sooner.

Can I ask you to delete my parchment quote history?

Yes. Email from the address you used on the request and we delete the request, the files and the emails, keeping only invoices the law requires.

Is the chat widget on the site run by another company?

Yes. A chat service delivers it and stores the transcript so our team can pick the conversation up. Do not type card details into it.

Does WhatsApp messaging fall under this privacy policy?

What you send us by WhatsApp is handled as described here. The WhatsApp service itself runs under its own terms, which we do not control.

Will I get marketing emails after asking for a parchment quote?

No. You hear from us about your quote, proof, invoice and delivery only, unless you ask to be told about new sizes or stocks.

Who do I contact with a privacy question about my quote data?

Email info@theparchmentpaper.com or call Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Eastern. A person replies within one business day.

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp or call (503) 461-4788.
