Rounds and liners cut to the pan and the basket
Two shapes for the pans a flat sheet cannot line: round parchment for cake pans and springforms, and tabbed liners for air fryer baskets. Both are die-cut, so nobody traces a pan with scissors at six in the morning.

Why a round or a liner instead of a sheet?
A square sheet in a round pan folds at the wall. Those folds pleat into the batter, leave ridges on the side of the cake and trap a wedge of air under one edge.
A round cut to the pan floor sits flat, the batter spreads to the wall, and the cake drops onto the rack with the paper peeling off in one piece.
An air fryer basket is the same problem turned up. The fan is inches from the food and a loose sheet lifts straight into it. A liner with lift tabs stays under the food and comes out by the tabs.
Which round fits a 9 in cake pan?
A 9 in round. We cut rounds to the nominal pan size and they drop in with a hair of clearance, because a cake pan wall flares slightly outward.
The 9 in round is the size most cake shops order, since 9 in pans carry most layer cakes. Keep 8 in for smaller layers, 6 in for smash cakes and tasting sizes, and 10 or 12 in for tiers.
For a springform, order the base diameter and the round sits inside the ring once the clip closes. Parchment rounds for cake pans lists every diameter we cut.
How big should an air fryer liner be?
Measure the basket floor, not the lip. A liner about 1 in smaller than the floor leaves the edge free so hot air still moves under the food.
Most baskets take the 7.5 in liner. Smaller single-drawer units run 6.5 in, large baskets 8.5 in, and square baskets take the 9 in square.
Point the tabs toward the handle side of the drawer. The cook then grabs them without reaching over the food.
Never run a liner in an empty basket for the preheat. With nothing holding it down the fan lifts it against the element, and parchment is not made for that. Air fryer liners with lift tabs shows the tab shape and each size.
Comparing the two papers in the range
The tabs are the whole difference. A round goes under batter and stays until the cake is turned out. A liner has to leave a hot basket with the food on it, so it gets handles.
| Paper | Shape | Typical sizes | Stock | Use it for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Parchment rounds | Circle, no tabs | 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 in | Unbleached or white, silicone finish | Cake pans, springforms, tart pans, cheesecakes |
| Air fryer parchment liners | Round or square with two lift tabs | 6.5, 7.5, 8.5 in round, 9 in square | Unbleached or white, silicone finish | Air fryer baskets, countertop ovens, small roasting |
A cake shop with one countertop fryer for staff lunch still only needs rounds. A meal-prep kitchen reheating in a bank of baskets needs liners by the case.
What happens to a round under batter at 350°F?
Nothing you would notice, which is the point. Rounds and liners come with a silicone finish, since both sit in direct contact with wet batter or fatty food.
The round also evens out the bottom crust. Batter against bare aluminum browns faster at the edge than the center; on paper the color comes out level.
- Silicone-coated rounds hold their release to 450°F (typical), well above any cake.
- Unbleached rounds, the kraft-tone paper in our photos, are typical to 420°F and have no chlorine bleaching in the pulp.
- A round under a cake is single use in practice, because batter soaks the edge. A liner under dry fries can go 2 to 3 runs.
- Neither is for a broiler, an open flame or contact with a heating element.
Can rounds and liners carry a logo?
A printed round shows at one moment: the customer lifts the cake out of the box and the base paper carries the bakery name. One color on unbleached is the look most cake shops want.
Printed air fryer liners are mostly a food-brand play, packed with a frozen product so the liner carries the logo into the customer's kitchen. Ink goes on the underside, away from the food.
A guide to printing logos on parchment covers file types and what one color looks like on kraft.
Ordering rounds and liners for the first time
A first order is one message with a measurement in it. Everything after that is in writing. If you run three pan sizes, list all three and each becomes a line on the same quote.
- Measure the pan floor or the basket floor across the widest point.
- Pick the nearest typical size, or give us the exact measurement for a custom cut.
- Say plain or printed and how many you use in a month.
- Approve the written quote, which arrives within one business day, and the free proof if printed.
- Production runs 4 to 6 business days and delivery is free and tracked to any US address in 2 to 3 business days.
The minimum is 1,000 rounds or liners of one size. Send your pan size for a quote and the price comes back in writing.
Rounds and Liners questions
Do the rounds in this range fit springform pans as well as solid cake pans?
Yes. Order the base diameter and the round sits inside the ring when it clips shut.
Can I put rounds and air fryer liners on one quote?
Yes, each as its own line with its own 1,000-piece minimum. They ship together in one delivery.
Are the lift tabs on the liners cut from the same piece of paper?
Yes, the tabs are die-cut with the liner from one piece of parchment, so nothing is glued on.
Which stock are the parchment rounds cut from?
Unbleached kraft-tone or bleached white, both with a silicone finish. The photos show the unbleached version.
Do I grease the pan under a parchment round?
A smear of fat under the round holds it flat while the batter goes in. Nothing is needed on top.
Will a round curl or shrink in the oven?
No. Parchment holds its size through a bake; a round that curls was cut oversize and is riding the wall.
Can the tabbed liner go in a countertop oven or toaster oven?
Yes, at or under the heat limit and away from the element. The tabs make it easier to lift out than a flat sheet.
Do you cut rounds in diameters between the typical ones?
Yes. Any diameter is a custom cut; give the measurement on the quote and it is priced the same way.
How are rounds and liners packed for delivery?
Flat stacks in a case, counted by the piece. The case count is on the quote.
Can the air fryer liners be printed with a logo?
Yes, on the underside, away from the food, in food-safe inks. One color on unbleached stock reads best.
